End of Sale of the Arista 7260QX Series 40 Gigabit Ethernet Switches
Arista Networks announces the upcoming end of sale for the 7260QX Series 40 Gigabit Ethernet Switches and the 1100W AC Power supplies. The product part numbers covered by this announcement are listed below in Table 1. The last day to order the affected products is October 10th 2020. Customers with active support contracts will continue to receive support from Arista TAC (Technical Assistance Center) as per the dates listed in Table 2, the End-of-Life Milestones.
Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to plan a migration to newer models that are equivalent or better. The newer models support existing features, are more power efficient and offer enhanced functionality.
The 7260CX-64 offers a 10/40/100GbE migration with higher performance and lower latency, while both the 7260CX3-64E and 7260CX3-64 offer higher performance with lower power and support for 100GbE in addition to 40GbE interfaces.
