Arista is transitioning to a new EOS image signing key in Q2 CY2027 due to the scheduled expiration of the current key on May 31, 2027 (23:04:28 UTC). As image validation relies on the date an image was signed, rather than the date a switch checks it, currently installed images will remain fully functional and continue to boot past May 2027. However, any image signed with the new key will fail validation on switches that only have the old certificate installed. EOS releases starting with 4.30.2F included the updated certificate for the new signing key.

The new C-460D Access Points are shipped with firmware version 23.0.0F-23. Between supplying the ODM production image and the General Availability (GA) release, the Arista engineering team added key stability fixes to the 22.xx.xx release train. As a consequence, the team decided to designate firmware version 22.3.xx branched out of the 22.xx.xx release train as the GA candidate for the C-460D platform.

This notice serves to inform you that C-200 Access Points on firmware version 21.4.0M-12 have been found to experience recurrent system restarts. This build has hence been removed from the list of available builds for the C-200 platform. It is important to emphasize that only the C-200 platform is impacted by this issue.

Under rare circumstances, a CloudVision cluster may replay CLI commands to devices. This can happen without user intervention and may result in unintended changes to network devices. Three specific conditions are required for this to occur.

This field notice is for customers running CloudEOS instances in Microsoft Azure. Microsoft has recently introduced a new type of networking infrastructure called Microsoft Azure Network Adapter (MANA) and is looking to transition customers to it beginning August 1, 2026. Customers can defer this transition until May 31, 2027 by opting out.

Notification about Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE201 Windows client roaming failures. The roaming failure occurs only with the particular client type and configuration settings mentioned above. Moreover, the failure does not occur every time the client roams; it is observed in about  50% of the roaming attempts.
