End of Sale /End of Support /End of Life Cycle of Pluribus NetVisor Operating System (NVOS), Pluribus UNUM (Management) Software, and Pluribus Freedom 9000 Series of 10Gig, 25G & 100G family of Open Networking Switches.
Arista Networks announces the upcoming end of sale for the Pluribus Netvisor Network Operating System (NVOS) and Pluribus UNUM (Management) Software for the DELL Open Networking Family of Switches, and for the Pluribus Freedom 9000 series of Open Networking Switches. The product and part number covered by this announcement are listed below in Table 1. The last day to order the affected products is December 31st, 2024
Customers with active support contracts for Pluribus NetVisor Operating System (NVOS) and/or Pluribus Freedom 9000 series of open networking switches will continue to receive support from Arista (Pluribus) TAC (Technical Assistance Center) as long as the systems remain covered under a support contract and the dates as listed in Table 2, the End-of-Life Milestones.

Migration Options for customers with Pluribus Freedom 9000 Series Switches
Pluribus customers who have deployed the Freedom 9000 Series of Open Networking Switches with NetVisor Operating System (NVOS) are encouraged to consider migrating to the Arista DCS Family of data center and cloud networking 10G, 25G, 100G and 400G Ethernet switches that run the Arista EOS (Extended Operating Systems) software and managed by Arista CloudVision. The Arista DCS-family of networking switches are based on merchant silicon based networking silicon and provide higher performance with improved features and scale and lower power.
Software Migration Options for customers deploying Pluribus NetVisor OS (NVOS) and Pluribus UNUM software on DELL Open Networking Whitebox Switches
Pluribus customers who have deployed NetVisor Operating System (NVOS) on Dell Open Networking switches or Edgecore White Box Networking switches or Pluribus Freedom 9000 series of switches are encouraged to consider migrating to Arista DCS Family of data center networking switches that run the Arista EOS (Extended Operating Systems) software and get managed by Arista CloudVision. The Arista DCS-family of networking switches provide higher performance with improved features and scale and lower power.
