Cabling the Appliance

Important:This equipment must be grounded. Never defeat the ground conductor.

Rear Panel displays the location of the power supply on the rear panel of the appliance.

  1. Use the provided power cord to connect to the power supply port located on the rear panel of the appliance.
  2. Connect the power cord to an AC power source. This appliance is only rated for AC power sources.

  3. Connect an Ethernet cable from your management computer or LAN switch to port 1.

  4. Power on the system by pressing the power button located on the rear panel next to the power input.
  5. Allow approximately two minutes for the system to initialize before continuing with the next steps.
